I have the best job in the world, combining my passion for the not-for-profit community with raising the funds that fuel life-changing missions. Born and raised in Mexico City before moving to Cincinnati in the late ’80s, my background in college admissions and K-8 education built a strong foundation in marketing, recruitment, and retention. My first development role at Our Lady of Grace School in Chicago, where I built relationships with constituents, alumni, parishioners, and community leaders, made me fall in love with philanthropy.
Since then, I’ve consulted with CCS Fundraising, helping Lions Clubs International raise over $200M worldwide, and with Benefactor Group on numerous campaigns. My experience spans successful fundraising efforts across diverse organizations, giving me a deep understanding of how to develop impactful strategies and build lasting donor relationships.
As a frontline fundraiser, I’ve led successful development teams at Cincinnati’s Ronald McDonald House and the Cincinnati Ballet (where I led a $32M capital campaign). These experiences have allowed me to hone my skills in driving large-scale fundraising efforts and supporting organizations in achieving their goals.
